Hi, I’m Ashley—the founder of Kween’s. My journey with ice cream began when I was 18 years old, traveling through Phuket, Thailand. One evening, I stumbled upon a street vendor making something I had never seen before: rolled ice cream. The woman behind the cart noticed my curiosity, smiled, and invited me to step behind the counter. With a few quick movements of her spatulas, she showed me how to spread, roll, and serve this beautiful creation.
That moment stuck with me. I knew right then that I wanted to bring this experience home—back to Mountain View—so others could share in the same joy and wonder I felt on that street in Phuket.
